Field Service Technician
Nidec Minster Corporation, a leading manufacturer in the material forming press industry, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician. This role involves delivering technical assistance and maintenance services to ensure optimal performance of Minster equipment at customer locations. The technician will also oversee and guide personnel in the setup of machinery, as well as train customer staff on the correct maintenance and operation procedures for Minster products.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver technical and maintenance assistance to clients utilizing Minster's metal forming machinery.
- Commission both new and refurbished metal forming equipment at client facilities.
- Conduct audits on customer equipment and document any necessary repairs.
- Prepare and present detailed reports in English, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Encourage the purchase of service parts and preventative maintenance agreements.
- Adapt to flexible working hours to meet customer service demands, primarily during the day with occasional off-shift support.
- Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical machinery, along with troubleshooting and maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including both domestic and international assignments, with a commitment to being available 7 days a week.
- Assured 45 hours of work per week.

- Daily per diem of $75 for domestic travel and $95 for international travel, disbursed weekly.
