Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update demographic records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures, and coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless care.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping, to support the smooth operation of our healthcare team.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in healthcare software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Work Environment: Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive individuals, with a focus on providing a safe and respectful work environment.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
