About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Representative to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Registered Investment Advisors, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities
  • Provide value-added service and support to our clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to compliance and risk procedures, ensuring that all interactions with clients are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Creatively and conveniently solve client problems, providing innovative solutions that meet their needs.
  • Perform comprehensive account and service functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all client interactions.
  • Handle requests from advisors for investment products and services, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Provide direction to new advisors, responding to their needs, inquiries, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Excel in explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that clients understand our products and services.
  • Drive customer experience to high levels of satisfaction, adhering to our customer-first principles.
  • Contribute to departmental and corporate goals, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 License required; may consider sponsoring for qualified candidates.
  • Minimum of 2 years client service experience, preferably in financial services, retail brokerage, or at an investment advisory firm.
  • Proven experience with fundamentals of providing service excellence, including skills to build rapport, determine client needs, and educate clients/prospects on our products and services.
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Robust problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Strong technical skills, including word processing, spreadsheet capabilities, and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Team player with demonstrated initiative/leadership through participation in job-related groups or committees.
