Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Sterile Processing Tech to join our team at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Prepare and assemble instruments and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and leadership to ensure clear understanding of responsibilities and expectations.
Requirements
  • Current HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) CRCST or CBSPD certification.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • At least six months of previous SPD experience required.
  • Medical terminology and familiarity with surgical instrumentation preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
