Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities, particularly focused on concrete-related tasks (foundations, slabs, walls, etc.).
- Document Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, submittals, and change orders.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, review costs, and assist in controlling project expenses.
- Subcontractor Management: Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Concrete Work Oversight: Assist in overseeing concrete pours, inspections, and formwork installation, ensuring compliance with project designs and quality standards.
- Progress Reporting: Track and report on project milestones and performance metrics, providing updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions to maintain project momentum and avoid delays.
- Quality Control: Participate in site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring expectations are met.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all project activities adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on concrete structures.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc.) and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Knowledge: Understanding of concrete techniques, construction materials, project management principles, and safety regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Must have a reliable vehicle to visit job sites regularly
