Job Summary

The Registered Nurse II / Relief Staff Leader (RSL) is a key member of the Medical University of South Carolina team, responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the RSL will provide department/shift leadership in the RSL role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients and families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes
  • Provide department/shift leadership in the RSL role
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
