Director of Community Engagement

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our community engagement efforts. As our Director of Community Engagement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of residents to identify their interests and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation plans that meet the needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Manage and coordinate volunteer programs to support community engagement efforts
  • Develop and maintain departmental documentation to track resident progress and services provided
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or registration as an Activities Director, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social or recreational programs within the last 5 years
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in healthcare activities programs
  • Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist is preferred
