Job Title: Direct Support Professional II

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Institute for Community Living. As a DSP II, you will provide direct support and care to individuals with severe intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as cleaning and maintaining the living environment.
  • Support individuals with medical needs, including administering medications and providing first aid.
  • Encourage and facilitate community integration through socialization, leisure activities, and outings.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized plans to promote growth and independence.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
