Job Title: Social Worker (Family Worker)

At Partners in Child Development, we are dedicated to nurturing the growth and potential of every child. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker (Family Worker) to join our team in Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, Andover, and the greater Lowell area.

Job Summary:

The Social Worker (Family Worker) will provide in-home and childcare center Early Intervention services for children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges for the child and family, assessing risk factors such as parental mental illness, substance abuse, domestic and/or community violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-home and childcare center EI services for children ages 0-3
  • Assess and address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges for the child and family
  • Develop and implement Individual Family Service plans (IFSPs) for children and their families
  • Collaborate with families, team members, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support
  • Participate in evaluations, interventions, and development of IFSPs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Current licensure as a LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LMFT-eligible with proof of license eligibility
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under the age of 5
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and compassion for children and families
  • Sufficient computer and technical skills to complete position-required documentation
