Job Title: Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP)About the Role

Partners in Child Development is seeking a highly skilled Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multi-disciplinary team. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in providing interventions to children and families in our Early Intervention Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen for speech, language, cognitive communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties in children's daily activities, home/community, and advise on alternatives consistent with their needs and capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) including strategies and family outcomes to address the child's individual needs.
  • Provide services to clients through coordination and collaboration with team members, public/private, and community service providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree required. Must hold current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the MA Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) granted by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric setting working with children under the age of 5.
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmental milestones and delays in children, as well as the impact of emotional, behavioral, and neurological disabilities on the child's functioning and development.
  • Must hold current, valid driver's license and the ability to provide proof of insurance coverage for travel between home visits.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with sufficient computer and technical skills to complete position required documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and compassion for children and families.
