The Community Group is actively looking for a committed Family Specialist to deliver child care resources and referrals to families, alongside offering technical assistance to child care providers. The successful candidate will be tasked with guiding clients in obtaining child care financial support, overseeing a caseload of clients, and ensuring meticulous record-keeping. Exceptional interpersonal abilities and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment are essential. Previous experience in customer service and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients on the criteria for child care financial support
- Assess and determine eligibility for financial assistance programs
- Oversee caseload and ensure precise record maintenance
- Offer technical support to child care facilities
- Utilize specialized software for data management
- Perform additional duties as required
- Compliance with EEC standards for qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred
- Willingness to travel locally may be necessary
- Experience in child care is beneficial
