About the Role

CES Group Engineers, LLP is seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our Geomatics Division, you will be responsible for leading field survey crews and managing resources and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex survey calculations and direct the daily activities of field survey crews.
  • Manage resources and budgets for multiple concurrent projects, including boundary, ALTA, topographic, design, and construction surveying assignments.
  • Organize, prioritize tasks, and coordinate field and office surveying practices.
  • Quality control review of field survey data and preparation of survey documentation and drawings.
  • Interact with clients and occasionally travel to client or project sites.
  • Coordinate with the works of others and ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveying License (PLS) in North Carolina or South Carolina is a plus.
  • Five (5) years or more of land surveying experience, including demonstrated proficiency with field surveying techniques and survey office practices.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey software is required. Experience with Trimble Business Center and MicroStation is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills and well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface with the Geomatics Division Manager, other project team members, clients, and office staff.
