Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tasks and procedures as directed by licensed practitioners, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support services, including answering patient questions, providing education, and promoting patient engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
  • 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical assisting role.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
