ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Leasing Approval Specialist at GHP Management, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and accuracy of our leasing team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and approving lease files according to policy, facilitating resident lease signings within the first 72 hours of approval, and providing administrative support to the leasing staff and Leasing Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all lease files are prepared and approved according to policy
  • Follow qualification procedures and assist clients with proving sufficient income documentation
  • Facilitate resident lease signings within the first 72 hours of approval
  • Assist with answering overflow multi-lined phones and greeting clients
  • Organize shared calendars and pre-schedule daily appointments
  • Ensure leasing centers are clean and organized daily
  • Provide a wide range of administrative and support services to the leasing staff and Leasing Manager
  • Provide weekly leasing and execution reports
  • Ensure GHP pending application dashboard is completed weekly

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a first-class customer service environment
  • Property Management experience a plus
  • Real Estate experience is a plus
  • Experience with Yardi and Knock is a plus but not required
  • Great with people - warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone
  • Be extremely organized and have the ability to multitask
  • Excellent oral and written skills are required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Must pass background and drug test screening
  • May require driving a golf cart

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community
  • Constantly position self to bend, stoop, reach, and lift
  • Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25 lbs. with/without assistance
  • Frequently lift/move/carry 10 lbs.
  • Consistently communicate, converse, and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents, and visitors
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Constantly operate the computer, 10-key, and other office productivity machinery
  • Consistently work in low to moderate noise levels

SCHEDULED HOURS:

  • Must be available to work on weekends
  • Shift schedule 9 am-6 pm and/or 10 am- 7 pm
  • 40 Hour weekly commitment required
