Position Summary:

We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect who will take on the vital responsibility of developing code-based solutions within Salesforce, focusing on data migration, systems integration, and third-party applications. This role requires close collaboration with Salesforce administrators and business analysts to create solutions that align with business objectives and drive essential initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Engage with architects, administrators, and stakeholders to establish technical strategies and solutions.
  • Customize standard Salesforce objects and develop custom objects as required.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient management of data storage.
  • Implement custom applications, features, and functionalities on the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop advanced Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and other necessary custom code.
  • Maintain validation rules, workflows, process builder flows, and other declarative features.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications utilizing APIs and web services.
  • Collaborate with developers and integration partners to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Build and customize Experience Cloud sites to enhance user engagement and accessibility.
  • Evaluate and implement AppExchange solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues through debugging and performance tuning.
  • Adhere to best practices, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Work closely with business analysts and end-users to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Coordinate with the release management team for smooth and error-free deployments.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce platform enhancements, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Participate in Salesforce community forums and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in gathering requirements and designing reliable technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce with 5-7 years of direct experience, particularly with NPSP, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Lightning.
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience in implementing Salesforce configuration changes such as Flows, fields, page layouts, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with third-party Salesforce release management tools.
  • Experience in managing sandbox environments.
  • Knowledge of data management and automation implementation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
  • Administrator and Advanced Administrator Certification.
  • Platform App Builder Certification.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Active participation in the Salesforce community.
  • Experience using Salesforce in a non-profit context.
