About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. as a Dialysis Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient dialysis setting, working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including medication management, laboratory results, and other relevant medical information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families, promoting a positive and respectful care environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N), or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the state of practice.
  • Experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
