We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at El Paso Children's Hospital Corporation. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient/family.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Support the organization's vision and mission by promoting a culture of excellence, quality, and patient-centered care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN License to practice in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification (required for charge nurses only).
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
