Production Manager

Forestry Resources LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production facilities.
Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This includes managing production schedules, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall operations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in a production or operations supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. You will be required to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver's license is not required for this role.
