About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technician Level II to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, where you will be responsible for processing specimens, maintaining quality and productivity, and ensuring the smooth flow of specimens through the laboratory operations area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process specimens for testing, including accessioning, verification, and labeling
  • Perform troubleshooting duties for coordinators and clinicians, and notify providers of collection or processing errors
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and prioritizing all samples arriving in Lab Control, and maintaining sample integrity per established procedures
  • Assist with workflow issues and other duties as directed by senior staff, and maintain safety protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years of previous laboratory experience preferred
