Job Opportunity - Associate Merchandising Team Leader at American Eagle

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Associate Merchandising Team Leader at American Eagle, you will be instrumental in shaping the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your primary focus will be on mentoring and guiding your team to consistently uphold AEO brand Visual standards. Your leadership approach ensures impeccable execution of floorsets, exceptional merchandising, and adherence to marketing brand standards. You will maintain a 'guest ready' environment through effective replenishment, embodying our company values and authenticity every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales Enthusiasm: Propel sales as a key Leader on Duty by optimizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity. Cultivate guest loyalty through an outstanding guest experience and contribute to the store's financial performance by making informed business decisions based on daily trends and reports. Play a pivotal role in formulating business plans to enhance key performance indicators.
  • Creative Merchandising: Guide your team to provide an exceptional guest experience while upholding AEO Brand Standards. Ensure the store remains visually appealing through daily merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and timely replenishment, always ready to capitalize on merchandising opportunities.
  • Leadership Development: Inspire and motivate your team by exemplifying AEO's core values. Hold your team accountable for delivering exceptional customer service, both on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent Acquisition and Training: Identify and recruit top talent to ensure the store is adequately staffed. Provide training and development to your team to consistently deliver outstanding service.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Offer continuous performance feedback through real-time coaching and prioritize team development, fostering associate engagement through recognition of exceptional performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Execute operational procedures with precision, maintain visual standards throughout the store, and ensure the Fitting Rooms consistently meet AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity Matters: Uphold store safety standards and Asset Protection policies, consistently adhere to AEO's guidelines, and always act with integrity.
