- Facilitate referrals for patients needing services beyond your specialty, including transfers to inpatient care.
- Review patient information daily and respond to time-sensitive matters with urgency.
Continuity of Care
- Ensure coverage of assignments and maintain continuity of care during anticipated absences.
- Adhere to organizational bylaws, policies, procedures, and infection control protocols.
Quality Improvement
- Assist in the development and revision of clinical protocols and practice principles as needed.
- Actively participate in quality of care initiatives, performance improvement, and patient safety activities.
- Support the achievement of performance metrics, including cycle time, capacity utilization, and patient throughput.
Patient Experience
- Champion patient experience and customer service initiatives, utilizing effective communication techniques.
- Ensure all patient interactions are conducted professionally and respectfully.
- Accurately document and finalize patient visit notes within established time frames.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a medical school recognized by the Medical Licensing Board.
- Valid physician license to practice in the state of Indiana.
- Controlled Substance Registry license in Indiana.
- DEA license.
