We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Step Down Unit. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
- Perform routine duties, such as assembling charts, posting charges, and setting up appointments.
- Utilize Powerchart for Order Entry and provide technical support to employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical claim data.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Training in/completion of Order Entry computer system.
- Completion of Clerk orientation.
- Computer literate and familiar with hospital regulations.
