Position Overview
We are seeking a Vice President of Environmental Solutions to join our team. This role involves engaging with our Earth & Environment Team and contributing to a growing organization dedicated to fulfilling client objectives and resolving environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
As a leader in this position, you will:
- Provide expert technical support and leadership for multi-site environmental engineering projects, including due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, and environmental permitting.
- Ensure that project elements related to water supply, waste disposal, air emissions, and pollution control are executed with the highest quality and compliance.
- Guide project managers and teams in addressing current and future environmental challenges, ensuring that documentation and recommendations consider long-term ecological and human health risks.
- Lead environmental site assessments and develop corrective strategies to prevent degradation of air, water, and land resources.
- Oversee data collection efforts, identifying and compiling environmental data from various matrices for projects and investigations.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings and recommendations for environmental management.
- Develop action plans for large-scale pollution and environmental control programs.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of staff members.
- Stay updated on the latest environmental engineering techniques and collaborate with professionals across disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, Sanitary, Chemical, Industrial, Agricultural, or Public Health Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering.
- A valid engineering license (multi-state preferred).
- Strong proficiency in engineering principles and their application to environmental projects.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively.
