Job Summary

The International Development Specialist will be responsible for coordinating Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) efforts for a portfolio of fellows, providing mentorship alongside managing candidate selection for our prestigious fellowship program. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of robust MEL frameworks tailored to the specific goals of the program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international development, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience working with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate comprehensive data collection tools (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to gather qualitative and quantitative data from various stakeholders, including fellows, mentors, and alumni.
  • Serve as a program advisor to fellows of the program to support their practicum experience.
  • Prepare clear and compelling reports that summarize evaluation findings, highlight key trends, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders including team members.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluation processes, reports, partner contributions, and application materials to facilitate access to information by stakeholders.
  • Help plan and coordinate events related to the fellowship program, including training sessions, networking events, and mentorship forums.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international studies/development, international relations, social science, political science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience and interest in youth leadership, international education, and/or professional development programs preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate evaluation findings to diverse audiences effectively.
  • Proven ability to work in an international context.
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and institutions.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Makes decisions based on judgment and maintains clear communication with senior staff.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $49,600 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is eligible for telework and offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to help you thrive.
