Job SummaryWe're seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit. As a member of our team, you'll provide direct nursing care to post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients. You'll work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers who are committed to delivering world-class care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Evaluate and update patient care plans to achieve planned and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing protocols.
- Assess and coordinate patient education, providing teaching and support as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
