Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Scientist to lead our Bioanalytical team at the Novartis Group Companies. As a key member of our Translational Medicine team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and validation of mass spectrometry assays for pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity bioanalysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for bioanalytical method development and validation for various therapeutic modalities, including proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and gene therapy.
- Lead a team of scientists in the development and validation of mass spectrometry assays for pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity bioanalysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of bioanalytical data to support clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
- Develop and maintain expertise in mass spectrometry and bioanalytical techniques, including LC-MS/MS and GC-MS.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and quality in our bioanalytical operations.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in bioanalytical method development and validation, with a strong background in mass spectrometry and chromatography.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading teams and managing projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Experience with regulatory submissions and compliance.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in bioanalysis.
