Job Title: Research Associate - Molecular Bioanalytics

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Research Associate to join our DMPK, Nonclinical Safety and Translational Sciences (DSTS) team at Editas Medicine. As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for supporting ADME, biodistribution, PK/PD and bioanalytical activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute routine workflows for bioanalytical method development and sample analysis using techniques such as molecular bioanalytical assays (qPCR, ddPCR) in support of non-clinical quantitative bioanalysis.
  • Develop nucleic acid extraction (DNA/RNA) and quantification from a broad-spectrum animal tissues.
  • Execute bioanalytical assay development strategies to characterize ADME, PK and biodistribution properties of the drug product and address key scientific questions.
  • Ensure that the data obtained is of the highest quality, timely generated.
  • Write bioanalytical assay protocols, ROPs/SOPs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degrees with 0-3 years relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in conducting quantitative bioanalysis using molecular bioanalytical techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR to support discovery and development projects.
  • Independently design, execute and analyze experimental results and effectively communicate them.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in establishing molecular bioanalytical methods, for a variety of therapeutic modalities, ideally in preclinical development.
