The Hotel Zamora, a luxurious boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Houseperson to join our team. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms, hallways, and restrooms
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and carpet shampoo machines
  • Wash walls and ceilings, move furniture, and turn mattresses
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors
  • Collect and process soiled linen for laundering
  • Receive and stock linen supplies from floor shoots
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
  • Remove trash and recyclables from hotel rooms and public areas
  • Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
  • Sort and stock linen, guest amenities, and supplies
  • Deliver towels, cribs, and other items to guest rooms upon request
  • Assist room attendants with heavy lifting and cleaning tasks
  • Report any damage, missing items, or maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
Requirements
  • No prior housekeeping experience required; customer service experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-lingual environment
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Compliance with brand standards, federal, state, and local hotel laws regarding health and safety services
