Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lawn Care Technician to join our team at Rainbow Lawncare. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including fertilization, weed control, and holiday lighting installation in the winter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fertilization, weed control, aeration, over-seeding, and/or hydro-seeding
  • Electronically record all services promptly in our database
  • Communicate with homeowners in a positive, professional manner
  • You will transition into holiday lighting for the winter - no snow plowing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or a GED
  • Valid driver's license and a commitment to safe driving
  • Ability to work long days outdoors with possible overtime, in all terrain and inclement weather
  • Obtain pesticide applicator's license within 30 days of start (we will pay for test)

Work Environment:

Work is performed outdoors in any weather element. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must be followed at all times, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
