Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as required, including IV placement and vital sign monitoring.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide quality care to research volunteers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with medical staff to oversee patient care and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Participate in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the Clinical Unit.
- Monitor and document adverse events, concomitant medications, and other relevant information.
- Lead clinical care in emergency situations and provide quality medical care to patients/healthy volunteers.
- Collect, process, store, and track biological samples as required.
- Assist with appointments and prepare the Clinical Unit for check-in and next-day procedures.
- Enforce Clinical Unit House Rules and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
- Review and restock clinical unit consumables and advise Clinical Operations Management as needed.
- Participate in mock code drills, emergency skills teaching, and oversight.
- Meet Learning and Development Key Performance Indicators and take on leadership responsibilities as designated.
- Licensed Paramedic in Minnesota with proficiency in IV placement.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to relevant document standards and work effectively in a team environment.
