Job Summary

Nucleus Network is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Medical Care Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our research volunteers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as required, including IV placement and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide quality care to research volunteers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to oversee patient care and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Participate in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the Clinical Unit.
  • Monitor and document adverse events, concomitant medications, and other relevant information.
  • Lead clinical care in emergency situations and provide quality medical care to patients/healthy volunteers.
  • Collect, process, store, and track biological samples as required.
  • Assist with appointments and prepare the Clinical Unit for check-in and next-day procedures.
  • Enforce Clinical Unit House Rules and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
  • Review and restock clinical unit consumables and advise Clinical Operations Management as needed.
  • Participate in mock code drills, emergency skills teaching, and oversight.
  • Meet Learning and Development Key Performance Indicators and take on leadership responsibilities as designated.
Requirements
  • Licensed Paramedic in Minnesota with proficiency in IV placement.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to relevant document standards and work effectively in a team environment.
