Resource Development Associate

Sadoway Labs Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to discovering solutions for deployable technologies that can help reduce global carbon dependence. Our mission is to accelerate the development of extreme electrochemistry technologies through research, innovation, collaboration, and education.
We are seeking a part-time Resource Development Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for a fundraising professional looking for a 15-20 hour week commitment. Reporting to the Director of Resource Development, main duties will include:
- Researching and identifying potential individual, institutional, and foundation prospects with giving interests that match our mission priorities.
- Exploring and reporting on philanthropic trends in the climate, energy, and decarbonization space.
- Leading writing on letters of inquiry and grant proposals.
- Collaborating with the Director of Resource Development to create and manage a calendar of prospects and grants.
Requirements
2+ years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, prospect research, donor relations, project management, and/or a related area. Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, Word, and PowerPoint.
You will be a member of a small team comprised of both experienced and new professionals. Interpersonal relationships and team collaboration are critical at Sadoway Labs Foundation.
