About the Role

As an E-Commerce Sales Associate at AutoNation, you will be the face of our online sales experience, interacting with hundreds of customers daily to guide their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle sales environment. Your exceptional communication and listening skills will help our customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms, and close the deal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to leads in a timely fashion and answer customer inquiries
  • Provide information and guide customers from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience
  • Negotiate terms to ensure payment options meet customer lifestyles, budgets, and expectations
  • Closing deals and providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition them to the Service department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Prior sales experience, retail preferred
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to follow up with customers
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record
