Position Overview:
The Systems Integration Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting our operations by establishing technical specifications, guiding design choices, identifying potential risks, and ensuring that projects adhere to established timelines for certification and qualification.

This role involves the integration of propulsion systems, collaborating with clients and engineering teams across various domains including Packages, Controls, and Performance.

As a representative of Quest Defense, you will engage with clients to understand their challenges and leverage your expertise to devise innovative solutions to complex engineering issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in executing gas turbine initiatives.
  • Coordinate product and system requirements, ensuring proper documentation and flow down.
  • Oversee validation and verification processes for comprehensive product/system testing.
  • Identify product specifications in collaboration with subcontractors and partner teams.
  • Facilitate the integration of components and products.
  • Act as the liaison between components and operational teams.
  • Manage overall product configuration and control systems.
  • Possess knowledge of Flow & Instrumentation Diagrams.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy formulation within your area of responsibility.
  • Develop specialized expertise in your field.
Required Qualifications:
We are eager to connect with candidates who meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.
  • Experience in systems/module level design and integration.
  • Proven mentoring and coaching capabilities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based with occasional involvement on the shop floor.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Significant engagement with telephone and computer tasks.
  • Experience in heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to protocols.
  • Flexibility to meet project deadlines, including potential early arrivals or late departures.
  • Standard work hours are typically 8 hours per day, with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM.
  • Capability to use personal transportation for client visits.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • Due to the nature of the role, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
