Electrical Engineer

At Jedson Engineering, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for industrial projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design power distribution systems, lighting, and grounding systems for industrial projects
- Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to drive efficient design
- Participate in planning, scheduling, and conducting detailed phases of electrical engineering projects
- Develop equipment specifications and construction specifications
- Direct preparation of drawings and specific equipment and materials for construction and equipment installation
- Inspect completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in design/installation of medium and low-voltage distribution equipment
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA)
- Able to handle onsite plant projects with minimal supervision
- Well-organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate within budgets
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and CAD systems
- PE license or EIT certificate with ability to obtain PE license
