Job Summary

Talent Software Services is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Business Requirements: Assist in developing business requirements in Salesforce to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
  • Build Functionality: Build functionality to allow new journeys to be created, enabling our team to effectively engage with customers.
  • Implement Marketing Campaigns: Develop and implement marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Mobile Studio.
  • Manage Email Campaigns: Develop and manage email campaigns, including responsive email templates, to ensure effective communication with our audience.
  • Integrate Systems: Experience using AMP script, SSJS, SQL, and HTML/CSS to create customized email templates, SMS messages, and landing pages, and integrate with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Design Workflows: Design and maintain workflows in Automation Studio to automate various processes, including file transfers, data extractions, sending emails, and SMS.
  • Manage Data Extensions: Create and manage data extensions and data filters to segment audiences and target campaigns effectively.
  • Develop CloudPages: Develop and manage CloudPages to create landing pages, microsites, and forms in WebStudio.
  • Configure Journeys: Design, configure, and automate journeys using Journey Builder to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage Automated SMS Campaigns: Create and manage automated SMS campaigns, including opt-in/opt-out processes, to ensure effective communication with our audience.
  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day operational needs in Salesforce, including data integration and platform builds.
  • Build and Edit Code: Build and edit code in Salesforce to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
  • Test New Functionality: Test new functionality to ensure it meets our requirements.
  • Manage Dashboards: Create and manage dashboards to provide insights into our marketing campaigns.
  • Manage Custom Applications: Manage and create custom applications and automate business processes via SFDC.
  • Manage Workflow Rules: Manage and create workflow rules and use of Salesforce Lightning to ensure seamless integration with our systems.
  • Monitor and Debug Deployment Tools: Monitor and debug deployment tools to ensure seamless deployment of our marketing campaigns.
  • Manage Communication between Systems: Manage communication between different systems using web services to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support Testing: Support testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure our marketing campaigns meet our requirements.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and provide guidance on maximizing system potential.
  • Develop and Maintain Email Marketing Campaigns: Develop and maintain email marketing campaigns that adhere to Protected Health Information (PHI) and CAN-SPAM regulations, including managing unsubscribe mechanisms and ensuring accurate sender information.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in campaigns, journeys, and automation workflows to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage User Access and Permissions: Manage user access and permissions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure seamless collaboration with our team.
Qualifications
  • Platform Development: Platform development experience using Apex and Visualforce, with a strong understanding of Lightning components.
  • Development Lifecycle: Experience with the development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.
  • Data Integration: Experience with data integration, including data mapping and data transformation.
  • Apex Development: Experience with Apex development, including building and editing code in Salesforce.
  • SQL: Experience with SQL, including creating and managing databases and data models.
  • AMPscript: Experience with AMPscript, including creating and managing email templates and SMS messages.
  • Testing Skills: Experience with testing skills, including automation and regression testing.
  • People Skills: Strong people skills, including effective communication and collaboration with our team.
  • Background in Salesforce: A strong background in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, including experience with Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Mobile Studio.
  • Certification: Required certification: Salesforce Certified (Apex Specialist).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SharePoint: Experience working with SharePoint, including developing and managing SharePoint sites and lists.
  • Experience with Salesforce: Experience working with Salesforce, including developing and managing Salesforce applications and workflows.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud: Experience working with Marketing Cloud, including developing and managing marketing campaigns and email templates.
  • Ability to Create Technical Documentation: Ability to create technical documentation for monitoring, changes, and enhancements in Salesforce.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Languages: Experience with object-oriented languages, including Java and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of SOQL: Knowledge of SOQL and web services.
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and Dashboards: Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and dashboards, including creating and managing dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Experience in Medicaid or Other Healthcare Claims System IT Projects: Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system IT projects, including developing and managing IT systems and applications.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
