Job Summary

At Raytheon, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Systems Integration and Test team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating state-of-the-art test environments for our multi-disciplined team. You will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced team that supports multiple products
  • Design, develop, and integrate missile flight simulation systems
  • Technical drawing development
  • Schematic creation
  • Circuit design and circuit analysis
  • Test interface development, including adapters and cabling
  • Identify and resolve issue and anomalies through debugging, troubleshooting, and related data analysis
  • Travel up to 20% may be required to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree
  • This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship experience in an engineering role supporting electrical design
  • Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalent
  • Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics and/or performing advanced FPGA firmware development (VHDL or Verilog)
  • Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design
  • Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect
