Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team at Schahet Hotels. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Quality and Service Standards: Maintain and implement high-quality food and beverage standards, ensuring consistency across all outlets and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Revenue Growth and Expense Management: Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, manage expenses, and improve profitability in all food and beverage areas.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Create and execute local food and beverage marketing initiatives, participate in system-wide promotions, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu design and concepts.
  • Department Management: Supervise and manage the food and beverage department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and overseeing employee scheduling and development opportunities.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the department's annual budget, ensure adherence to inventory control procedures, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Collaborate with the Executive Committee/Management Team, contribute to the development of hotel service standards, and direct at least two full-time employees, making hiring or firing decisions for the department.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or related field preferred. Serve Safe Certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of food and beverage experience, with at least two (2) years in a management role (hotel and/or restaurant). Culinary experience is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills, communication abilities, and physical stamina to perform tasks such as carrying items and moving around.
  • Training and Development: Completion of all required training programs on time and as per standards.
  • Decision Making and Compliance: Compliance with food and beverage service laws and company guidelines.
  • Financial Responsibilities: Proper handling and securing of all money and company assets.
  • Communication and Results: Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and excellent customer service, repeat guests, and a safe work environment.
  • Equipment and Work Environment: Uniform and nametag provided by the hotel, use of cash accounting systems, and a professional, clean, and respectful atmosphere.
