Senior Manager, Record to Report

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Record to Report to lead our cross-functional transactional accounting teams in delivering key business objectives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning strategic objectives with business goals, providing leadership and direction to internal and external teams, and driving deliverables in alignment with corporate goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the alignment of cross-functional transactional accounting teams to deliver key business objectives
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional internal and external teams to allocate and align resources, clarify priorities, and drive deliverables in alignment with corporate goals and timelines
- Provide leadership to prevent or resolve conflicts, mitigate business impact, and position the business to achieve strategic objectives
- Provide updates to the organization and eliminate obstacles to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Direct the financial performance of assigned business areas by analyzing financial data, comparing data to third-party information, budgets, or actual results, and researching and reviewing associates' research of financial information
- Discuss business impact of information in data and other information to the profit and loss within accounting rules, ensure audits are managed for timelines and accuracy, and facilitate the relationship between the team and internal customers and external specialists
- Understand end-to-end process for areas of responsibility and serve as Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Business Services, being the first point of contact with business partners as it relates to areas of responsibility
- Analyze balance sheet accounts and account reconciliations under areas of responsibility, ensure timely communication of issues and proper resolution, and analyze and communicate financial risks to business partners and collaborate with third-party partners to mitigate such risks
- Partner with Transformation and Business Integration team in identifying opportunities, providing subject matter expertise, developing requirements jointly with Transformation team, and ensuring deliverables meet objectives
- Oversee and review work performed by third-party partners, ensuring quality, timely delivery of service, and resolution of potential challenges and issues
- Direct the implementation of initiatives and process improvements in area of responsibility by communicating action plans to the team, leading teams through process changes, communicating the business case to key stakeholders, translating strategy into actionable plans, identifying and communicating areas of opportunity to senior leadership, and managing and allocating resources and budget for the department
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly, developing contingency plans, and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
- Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application, ensuring compliance with them, and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
- Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness, and participating in and supporting community outreach events
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial leadership, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business objectives. They will be a strategic thinker, with excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
