Veterinary Surgery Technician

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct surgery with our patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Assist our doctors with surgeries, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Monitor anesthesia levels and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including physical examinations and patient assessment.
- Provide compassionate care to our hospitalized animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Discharge patients, providing clear instructions and follow-up care as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician with surgical and anesthesia experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our veterinary team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
