Home Health Salaried Admissions Registered Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an Admissions RN, you will play a critical role in initiating the start of care and coordinating the development and implementation of care plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Admissions/Start of Care visits with clients and their families
- Perform client intake assessments and document the results
- Utilize Oasis to complete and document the client start of care
- Submit required documentation for prior authorization of client services as needed
- Document verbal orders for the Admission/Start of Care through timely communication with the client's physician and other caregivers
- Support agency audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide skilled nursing visits, resumption of care, recertifications, discharges, and supervisions as needed
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the client's home, utilizing a variety of skills such as phone triage, patient education, observation/assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes

- Preferred: Medicare skilled nursing experience, basic understanding of Oasis, and ICD 9/10 knowledge
