Home Health Salaried Weekend Registered Nurse RN Full Time

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Admissions Registered Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in initiating the start of care and coordinating the development and implementation of care plans for our clients.
Job Summary:The Weekend Admissions Registered Nurse will work closely with the Clinical Manager and/or Executive Director to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Schedule Admissions/Start of Care visits with clients and their families
- Perform client intake assessments and document findings
- Utilize Oasis to complete and document client start of care
- Submit required documentation for prior authorization of client services as needed
- Document verbal orders for Admission/Start of Care through timely communication with clients' physicians and other caregivers
- Support agency audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide skilled nursing visits, resumption of care, recertifications, discharges, and supervisions as needed
- Deliver patient-centered care using a variety of skills, including phone triage, patient education, observation/assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes

- Valid CPR certification
- Preferred: Medicare skilled nursing experience, basic understanding of Oasis, ICD 9/10 knowledge, and 1-year RN experience in a healthcare setting
