Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team as a Weekend Registered Nurse RN Full Time Home Health Position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule Admissions/Start of Care visits with client/client family members
- Perform client intake assessments
- Utilizing OASIS, complete and document the client start of care
- Submit required documentation for prior authorization of client services as needed based on client's pay sources
- Document any verbal orders for the Admission/Start of Care through timely communication with the client's physician and other caregivers
- Support agency audits
- Support other visits: Skilled Nursing Visits, Resumption of Care, Recertifications, Discharges, and Supervisions as needed
- Provide care in patients home using a variety of skills such as: phone triage, patient education, observation/assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, PICC line dressing changes etc.
Requirements:
- An active RN License in the state of application
- Valid CPR
- Preferred: Medicare Skilled Nursing experience
- Basic understanding of OASIS
- ICD 9/10 knowledge a plus
- 1-year RN experience in a healthcare setting
