At Aveanna Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Weekend Admissions Registered Nurse. This role will be responsible for initiating the start of care and coordinating the development and implementation of care plans for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule Admissions/Start of Care visits with clients and their families
- Perform client intake assessments and document the start of care
- Submit required documentation for prior authorization of client services
- Document verbal orders for Admission/Start of Care through timely communication with the client's physician and other caregivers
- Support agency audits and provide care in patients' homes using a variety of skills
- An active RN License in the state of application
- Valid CPR certification
- Preferred: Medicare Skilled Nursing experience, Basic understanding of Oasis, ICD 9/10 knowledge
