Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Colorado South Division team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the company's procurement operations and assist in organizing and awarding supplier agreements. You will also collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to procure materials and ensure accurate contract management.

Key Responsibilities

- Organizing estimates, takeoffs, plans, and other pertinent documentation.

- Identifying new suppliers in the marketplace.

- Conducting precise and timely negotiations and contracting with local suppliers.

- Performing product feasibility assessments.

- Overseeing supplier performance monitoring within the division.

- Assisting in resolving issues and conflicts related to Trade Partner activities.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential procurement and contracting within the homebuilding sector.

- General understanding of residential construction processes.

- Proficient negotiation skills in a cost-transparent environment.

- Ability to cultivate and enhance vendor partnerships.

- Capacity to thrive in a continuous improvement environment.

- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook; experience with JD Edwards is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $65,000- $85,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
