About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Sr Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explore and analyze patterns of performance and other reliability issues for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products and services.
  • Engage with Development and Service partners to identify improvement opportunities for IaaS and propose solution approaches related to network, Windows enterprise services (AD/DNS), OLVM/OKVM, and migration of services to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Contribute to the definition of Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) focused on the IaaS product, stack, and service.
  • Analyze telemetry data and present findings to various audiences, including executives.
Requirements
  • A Technical BS or MS, or equivalent experience.
  • The ability to acquire and maintain a federal security clearance, which requires being a US citizen.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, IaaS, systems thinking, large-scale applications, and deployments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Service Reliability Engineering expertise and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex problems.
