About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join our Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) team. In this role, you will work closely with our Development and Service partners to identify improvement opportunities for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Explore and analyze patterns of performance and other reliability issues for IaaS products and services.
- Engage with Development and Service partners to identify improvement opportunities for IaaS and propose solution approaches related to network, Windows enterprise services (AD/DNS), OLVM/OKVM, and migration of services to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Contribute to the definition of SLIs and SLOs focused on the IaaS product, stack, and service.
- Analyze telemetry data and present data and analysis to various audiences, including executives.
- A Technical BS or MS, or equivalent experience.
- The ability to acquire and maintain a federal security clearance, which requires being a US citizen.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or similar cloud environments.
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
- Systems thinking.
- Large-scale applications and deployments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Service Reliability Engineering.
- A methodical approach to troubleshooting complex problems.
