About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Wells Fargo. As a key member of our Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems and applications.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating large-scale distributed systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our SRE practices and tools, and to mentor junior engineers in their technical growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable systems and applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Contribute to the development of SRE practices and tools
  • Mentor junior engineers in their technical growth
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical systems
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience with Java, C#, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux/Unix and Windows servers
  • 3+ years of experience with configuration and monitoring technologies, such as Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, and Prometheus
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or higher in computer science or engineering
  • Experience with design, implementation, and governance of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or Machine Learning architectures
  • Experience with Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies
