Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Cannon House Assisted Living Facility. This role is designated for the night shift and involves working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN or LPN). The CNA will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the overall patient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster trusting relationships with residents through ongoing communication.
  • Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to the supervising nurse.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support residents during mealtimes and maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
  • Ensure residents' living spaces are tidy and organized.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program and current CNA licensure in Washington State.
  • Current CPR/BCLS certification is mandatory.
  • Effective communication skills with the healthcare team are essential.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various duties as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and state-specific registry checks.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous but not required.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are preferred.
