Sales Representative for Fine Wines in the Bronx

Tri-Vin Wines and Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wine Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our wine portfolio to off and on-premise accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of the wine industry, as well as work with a diverse and highly rated wine portfolio.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, with a commission-based structure and generous monthly bonus program. Additionally, you will receive a monthly car/travel expense allowance, 401k, health insurance, and other incentives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promote and sell wine to off and on-premise accounts.
- Increase product placements and open new accounts.
- Maintain and grow sales by working directly with retailers.
- Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales calls via a pre-determined account run.
- Meet or exceed pre-determined service expectations while effectively selling the portfolio and fulfilling designated account run management objectives.
Requirements
- Three years of wholesale experience, or commensurate experience in the hospitality industry, interpersonal skills, and strong work ethic.
- BASIC knowledge of wine, NEW and OLD WORLD, and desire to expand wine education.
- Ability to create opportunity and close a sale.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent personal and written presentation and communication skills.
- Computer literate and tech savvy.
