We are seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Representative to join our team in New York City.

About the Role

This is a results-driven position focused on achieving sales objectives, building brand awareness, and growing market share. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our luxury wine portfolio, developing new business relationships, and executing sales strategies with key retailers and establishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote our fine wine brands and increase brand visibility through staff training and education programs.
  • Develop new business relationships and identify potential customers to develop targeted business plans.
  • Execute sales strategies, objectives, and goals, partnering with key retailers and establishments in the specified market.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our products, features, and benefits compared to competitors.
  • Prepare professional sales presentations tailored to current supplier programs and customer needs.
  • Gain knowledge of customers' business operations and coordinate options for selling our products.
  • Assist and participate in trade and consumer events.
Requirements
  • Possess drive, motivation, and attention to detail to capture and explore all sales opportunities.
  • Establish working relationships with key accounts in the given territory.
  • Able to make smart business decisions based on growing sales, profitability, and market shares.
  • Proven track record of successful selling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and objection handling skills.
  • Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills to close deals.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in selling domestic and international fine and luxury wine preferred.
  • Brand building and outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) a must; experience using Pocket Advantage is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule depending upon the needs of customers.
  • CSW certification or ability to obtain preferred.
  • Bilingual in Italian, Spanish, or French preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
